Wednesday, 9/26 | Community Service Opportunity: Portland Mentoring Alliance

Details:The Portland Mentoring Alliance (PMA) matches volunteers from our community with Portland High School students to create supportive mentoring relationships. Maine Law and PMA have a long-standing partnership of roughly 10 years. Various Maine Law students have undertaken mentor roles with many wonderful success stories. Many students who request a mentor are first generation immigrants or refugees who benefit from having a native English-speaking adult help them navigate this important time in their lives. Join us to ask questions, hear stories, and how to get involved! Pizza provided!

Sunday, 9/30 | Environmental & Energy Law Society – Tumbledown Mountain Hike

Details:We will be leaving the law school at 9 am. If anyone would like to drive it’d be greatly appreciated. Friends, family, and furry friends are encouraged to join!
